Fundraising Bag-Pack December 2011

Our latest escapade to the Iceland Store on Bransholme was to raise funds for the Kids Christmas Bowling Day. Monies raised were pooled along with the £230 sponsor money from the Liverpool Marathon which was run in October by Mike Pendergast.

The day was another great success with an amazing £499.82 being raised for the cause. The total raised in this way for our various projects reached a total of £1591.30 during 2011. We would hope to run simillar projects throughout 2012 and would therefore ask for plenty of support from our members.

Thank you to all who helped on the day and especially to Allison Munro for arranging and running the event for us yet again!

As is now the tradition and for some fun along the way we had a little competition to see who could guess the nearest to the amount raised. There was a small prize for the nearest adult and junior guess and the prizes will be awarded at the respective clubs. All the guesses and results are posted below.
